Spring Shelving Renovation + Mood Boards

Remember those mood boards I posted about on Wednesday?? Also remember my shelves in my bedroom?? Well today those two things met, and they go together SO WELL!

Before: {I did have a January theme, but I didn't have pictures of it}.

New Theme: "Spring"

I love my mood boards! I plan on re-doing them lots!
Happy Friday!

At Home with Nicholas

Kudos to A Beautiful Mess for the idea.

I have a small crush on Nicholas's place. My friend recently moved to the beautiful city of Calgary {also which I have a crush on}. He graciously agreed to let me take pictures of his apartment for the blog. My self-appointed theme is: Modern Yet Travelled.

Blog meet Nick :)

I love home spaces and can't wait until I have one of my own to decorate. Until then, I will have to satisfy my desire with taking pictures of other people's places :)

Happy Sunday!

Christmas Vignette

Don't worry, I'll be back later today with the 18th installment of Dressember {two posts in one day, wow}. First, I am participating in the Christmas Cheer Link Up over at A Thoughtful Place!

Not only do I get to hang out with lovely bloggers, but I get to feature my themed bedroom shelves (check out previous decor themes herehere, and here).

Today's theme is, obviously, "Christmas".

My favourite thing about these shelves is the fact that I can change them up whenever I want and however it suits me! Plus, this latest arrangement adds just the right amount of Christmas Cheer to my bedroom :)
Can't wait to see some of your entries!
Happy Tuesday and Merry Christmas!

Around the House {Halloween Style}

On Friday night, I had the house to myself, and I decided to have a little party-of-one decorating party. Remember that craft night I had last week? Well, here is the finished product.

Also an outside-the-house shot for your viewing pleasure.

What have you done in preparation for Halloween??

Halloween Craft Night

On Tuesday night, I had the opportunity to hang out with a dear friend, and not only celebrate our completion of a variety of milestones within our school courses but also to do some Halloween-themed crafts.

She was preparing for her Halloween costume.
I was preparing for my Halloween party decorations.

Such a fun night full of crafty-ness and girl time.

Shelf Re-Decoration: Fall 2012 Style

So I've talked about these shelves on this blog several times before. And when I Dad first installed them, it was with the intention of decorating them according to the seasons/holidays.

So here was the "Summer" themed decor . . .

. . . and now it is time for "Autumn" {I went a little pine cone crazy}.

Isn't that fall printable the best? I got it from Pinterest via here.

So far, I'm loving fall so much. Definitely, a leading contender for favourite season.
What is your favourite thing about fall?

No. 352 - Shelf Re-Decoration

Remember this post about my new shelves above my bed?
Well the whole purpose of the shelves was to change up the display every once in awhile
in the hopes of reflecting the current season or holiday. Today I figured it was time for a change-up.

Here is the old design.

And here is the new design, embracing the theme "Summer".

Couldn't get rid of the "Summer Fun" Printable just yet,
and here is the link for the DIY ticket book.

A few easy summer reads. Check out my thoughts on The Help here.

My Valentine's bear, Philip, and my DIY berry bucket.

Ode to my favourite TV show {sadly on hiatus}, Once Upon A Time.

What do you think?
