Fact Is . . .

At the Kaos 91.1 skate party on Sunday afternoon.

Morning, kudos to Nicholl at The Chiffon Diary for this linky party!
Here are the facts on this snowy Saturday morning.

Fact: I am getting really excited for my Halloween party on Wednesday. I hope it'll be super awesome and full of fun costumes.
Fact: Don't even ask me how many times I have listened to Taylor Swift's new CD Red. Don't even. No shame.
Fact: I often travel all by myself. I have flown by myself so many times, that the couple of times I have been with people, I didn't know what to do with myself. Do you make constant conversation? Do you sleep on each others' shoulders? What are the rules?
Fact: Tomorrow is a very special day on the blog *insert big, mischievous smile*.
Fact: The best three female roles in Broadway are as follows: Eponine from Les Miserables, Hodel from Fiddler on the Roof, and Christine from The Phantom of the Opera.
Fact: I miss playing classical music on big, grand pianos. However, I don't miss the amount of time and effort that went into piano.
Fact: I often sing very loudly when I am by myself at home, which is a lot during the day. Hopefully, the neighbours can't hear . . .
Fact: I love the snow. Sorry, but I do.

Friday's Letters

Check out this picture I took on Saturday night.
This is what happens when I actually brush my hair.

Brother said I looked like "that red-headed girl from Brave", which prompted me
to go around in a Scottish accent saying, "I'll be shooting for me own hand".

Anyways, today I am participating in Friday's Letters featured by Ashley from Adventures of Newlyweds. I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, so here goes . . . .

Dear Labour Day Weekend: You were a wonderful time that prepared me to go back to school. Dear Once Upon A Time DVD Series: You are an amazing solution to a show that doesn't begin until October 30th. I am learning so much that I didn't pick up the first time around :) Dear Autumn: You are my favourite season. I love boots and scarves and hot chocolate and falling leaves and crisp mornings and pumpkin spice lattes and coziness. Dear Flaxee: YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED TOMORROW! How awesome is that? I am so excited to see you start this new chapter of your life. Dear First Week of School: You have been a lot less scary than I originally mentally prepared myself for. I have a really good feeling about this year. Dear Traveling: Please be nice to me. This is a record fast trip for me, and I don't do well being rushed. Dear Young Adults Group: I love just being around all of you. That is all. Dear Tuition: My bank account and you don't get along very well. In the future, please refrain from robbing me. Dear Blog: I am starting to get in the swing of things without the 365 photo a day challenge. I think posting every other day {with a few extras} is working out quite nicely for us. Dear Meal Planning: I want to figure out how to incorporate you into my life. Dear Lord: Thank you for grace.

So excited to read some of the other Friday's Letters. Happy weekend! I'm off to Crowsnest Pass ♥

365 Photos Recap: Farthest Away Picture

And the winner is . . . No. 190: The House That Built Me!

Can you believe that the farthest I went from August 2011-August 2012 was Creston, B.C.? As much as I love that little town, I am somewhat disappointed in myself at the lack of adventure in the past year. I mean, think of the photo opportunities I could have had. Oh well, read the full post here.

No. 173 - Bitten

Last night, I dreamt I was on a sandy beach that stretched as far as the eye could see. I was all by myself and the sun was setting. Today, I woke up with the urge to travel. Don't get me wrong, I love being in Fort McMurray, and I know this is where I am supposed to be right now. Every once in awhile though, I get the urge to throw caution to the wind, grab my hiker's backpack, and take to the open world. There is so much I haven't seen yet and long to experience. When I think about it that way, I sometimes wonder if I am wasting precious years in school. But then I remind myself of how young I am. The world is there for my taking.
And someday,
I'll take it!

What about now?
How 'bout tonight?
Baby, for once let's don't think twice.
Let's take that spin that never ends
that we've been talking about.

What about now?
Why should we wait?
We can chase these dreams
on the interstate.
And be long gone 'fore the world moves on
and makes another round.

What about now?
