Coffee Date

It's my day off and I still woke up at 6:30am. Sleeping in is not my lot in life. So I trekked down to the new stand-alone Starbucks with Brother and my yoga elective homework. Here are some coffee date tidbits of life.

~ Currently I have three weeks left of third year.
~ Currently I am drinking a Venti White Chocolate Mocha with soy milk.
~ Currently I am a little obsessed with the character Roy Harper on Arrow.
~ Currently I am wanting to buy flowers for myself to celebrate Easter & spring.
~ Currently I think that Easter Sunday should always be sunny or else something is wrong.
~ Currently I am hoping UNE jobs get posted soon.

Currently life is good. And on fire :)

Happy Thursday!

OUAT: Selfless, Brave, and True

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Those are my emotional thoughts on tonight's episode. Now, here are my logical ones on "Selfless, Brave, and True."
  • Best Moment: AUGUST W. BOOTH! I have been campaigning. I have put up posters. I have made a Facebook page. I have mentioned him in pretty much every single recap blogpost. And tonight, he was back in black! August W. Booth was seriously one of the best parts of season 1, so to see him play such a mighty, albeit small-screen-time, role in season 2 is wonderful. However, . . . .
  • Worst Moment: . . . is he now DEAD!?!? I mean what? I was a little bit confused. Because Pinocchio is now back to a little boy. So is he kind of like Jamie Dornan, and his character only comes back in flashbacks. Because if so, that sucks! Best and worst episode ever. How could they "kill" August W. Booth {also known as resorting back to a little boy}??? I know we have Captain Hook to fill the resident Storybrooke heartthrob role, but WHY AT THE EXPENSE OF AUGUST W. BOOTH?????
*takes about 10 minutes to compose self*
  • Crossover Moment: I'm still a little confused with the timeline. August W. Booth was a bit of a bad guy. But then he randomly reached out to Neal in 2000 in order to help Emma. Took off. Then came back in 2011. Hmmm. Okie dokie. Oh well, no complaints, cause he just got more screen time.
  • Romance Moment: Prince Charming is trying so hard. The poor guy. His wife is going through some stuff.
  • Exciting Moment: Hook isn't in the storage unit anymore. Appearance soon. Hoorah!
  • Evil Moment: Since my last campaign reached its end, what about the lets-all-dislike-on-Tamara campaign? Seriously, that girl is bad news. Come on, Neal. After Emma, that is what you go for???
  • Girl Power Moment: Snow practicing archery.
  • Character Moment: So who exactly is The Dragon??
  • Shipper Moment: Emma & Neal or Emma & Hook. I can't decide . . . .
  • Story Moment: I'm glad Regina recognized Greg/Owen. That story would have been too much if it had dragged on forever. Now that she knows, can she please make good on her promise and make him disappear???
  • Confrontation Moment: Anyone else a little scared when Tamara showed up at August W. Booth's trailer? Now we know she is in Storybrooke to steal magic. Thankfully Neal is innocent {I think}.
  • Cute Moment: Emma apologizing to Henry. Happy Family Moment.
  • True Love Moment: Our favourite couple will find a way to fix Mary Margaret's heart. It's their "thing".
  • Cliffhanger: Greg & Tamara sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. {Totally called it last week.}
  • Next Episode {in 3 weeks, boo}: Belle & Robin Hood :)

Happy Monday!

OUAT: Welcome To Storybrooke

To be honest, I thought this episode would deliver more of . . . I don't know . . . something. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's possible to "hate/dislike" an episode of Once Upon A Time. But this was definitely one of the slower-more-predictable-nothing-really-happened episodes. Let's discuss "Welcome To Storybrooke".

  • Best Moment: SHERIFF GRAHAM!!!! I seriously need to stop reading spoilers and whatnot, because it somewhat ruined the surprise impact. Either way, I was so happy to see him step out of the police vehicle in all his sheriff glory. Or maybe in Regina's words, "That uniform is so well-fitted."
  • Worst Moment: Kinda like I was ready for Cora to go away, I am now equally ready for Mr. Greg Mendell/Owen Flynn to leave. Where does he get the right to {A} stay in Storybrooke, {B} go for random nature hikes, {C} call Regina on Henry's behalf, and {D} randomly show up at the most opportunistic times to take videos of magic going-ons???? {Any bets placed that the "Her" he's been communicating with is Neal's fiance, Tamara?}
  • Interesting Moment: I didn't realize that the people of Storybrooke literally lived the same life day-in-and-day-out for 28 years. Ya, that would be boring for the one Storybrooke resident who knows differently. {Also, I read somewhere that Rumplestiltskin didn't regain his memory until Emma came into town}.
  • Funny Moment: Regina eats anything apple. Apple pancakes. Apple turnovers.
  • Character Moment: Little Owen may be cute, but he's a little bit of a brat. Anyone else think so? Mind you, Regina was acting equally bratty, so maybe it's all good.
  • Plot Moment: Is Rumplestiltskin right? Is the only way to end this blood feud with Regina to kill her? I mean, they tried saving her before {actually many times}, and it hasn't worked. The one catch, as per usual, . . . Henry.
  • Creepy Moment: Regina being all like, "Stay with me and live in Storybrooke" to Owen and Kurt. I'm sure there are less creepy ways to proposition new living locations.
  • Random Moment: Hi Gus/Billy.
  • Family Moment: It was nice seeing Neal & Emma working together to try to protect Henry. It was also funny when Neal was thinking how great of a father he was when really, no. I'm digging this trio.
  • Thrilling Moment: Kurt & Owen vs. Regina & Sheriff Graham car chase. Any team that has Sheriff Graham on it has my vote.
  • Climax Moment: This is what I mean when I think it was one of "those" episodes. Did anyone actually think Henry was going to "blow up magic"? Did anyone actually think Team Charmings would kill Regina or vica versa? Did anyone actually think Regina would kill MM/Snow? No, hence the I-wasn't-as-impressed-with-this-episode attitude.
  • Story Moment: It'll be interesting to see where they go with the black spot on MM's heart, and how that will all get handled/resolved.
  • Cliffhanger: Greg=Owen.
  • Next Episode: Greg & Tamara get involved in Storybrooke but who cares because AUGUST W. BOOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Monday!
