Remember those mood boards I posted about on Wednesday?? Also remember my shelves in my bedroom?? Well today those two things met, and they go together SO WELL!

DIY Mood Boards

It has been far too long since doing a DIY on this blog. Since I had some extra time on Easter Sunday afternoon, here is my creation. Kudos to Bella @ iisabellaanne for the idea!

Supplies

-Magazines or inspiration items

-Tacks

-Small square bulletin boards

TransAtlantic Fashion #1

Okay, ask me how excited I am for this post! I am hopeful that it will be the first edition of many more to come!
Ready for the background???

I met Janine from Bake, Glue, and Trend! via all the Dressember activities that were going on last month. She and I were both participating in said challenge, and via comments and whatnot, we got acquainted! Well, I absolutely fell in love with her style, her blog, and her descriptions of life activities {plus she's British!}. 

From that, she and I launched TransAtlantic Fashion! The basics are coordinating outfit posts with shout-outs to the other's style! I have had so much fun setting up this post with her, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! {Also make sure you check out her darling blog}. Ready to meet her?

DIY Writing Paper

I saw this amazing idea on Pinterest {all my DIYs start off like that}, and it ended up being a lot more simpler and quick than I thought.

{1} Copy a photo from your picture library.

{2} Paste it into Microsoft Word.

{3} Select "Format Picture".

{4} Select "Washout".

{5} Hit print!

DIY Chalkboard Coffee Tins

I've been planning this DIY for a LOOOOONG time, and I finally did it!

Supplies:
-Chalkboard Paint
-Painting supplies
-Coffee tins

 
 Remember . . .
-two coats of paint
-let it sit for 24 hours/overnight

I am so happy with how they turned out!!!!!

DIY Magazine Binder

If you are anything like me, the magazines have a tendency to pile up around the home, and they become more of a burden than a feature. So this past week, I decided to compile all my favourite pages from my magazines and put them into a binder.
Check it out.
 
Wow, look at that.

All of those magazines, and those sheets are the only part I want to keep.

Grab a binder, some sheet protectors, and there you go.

Speaking of our girl, Taylor, who has listened to her new CD Red multiple times?????

DIY Music Book

So I had a problem that was getting a little out of hand . . . a disorganized music book.

First, I organized each music piece into its own separate pile. I fixed tears, punched holes, and titled everything.

Then, I made alphabetical dividers.

Put everything into a 1.5" binder.

Created a fun printable.

And played beautiful melodies in an organized manner :)
