No. 341 - Unwritten

I have been focusing a lot lately on . . . well . . . YOLO a lot lately {for those of you not familiar with that acronym, it stands for "You Only Live Once", and it has semi-blown up around the world}.

I just want to embrace life.

I want to look back and know that I gave everything 100%.

I want to purse love and relationships like there is no tomorrow.

I want to live and not just survive.

I want to have a beautiful story.

This song is my inspiration.

No. 308 - DIY Ticket Book

So as some of you may remember way back from this post,
I am in the habit of keeping my ticket stubs as a way of reminiscing/journaling.
Well, I decided to find a new way to keep and display my ticket collection,
so I give you the Ticket Book.

Just take a small moleskine book.

And tape a ticket on each page along with thoughts and impressions of the movie.

I also included live theatre tickets.

I also always make sure to write the name{s} of who I went with on the ticket.

Here is another cool ticket idea from Pinterest.

No. 244 - Art Journaling 101

My latest thing is Art Journaling. Basically, you take one or two pages of an ordinary journal or notebook and decorate it however which way you desire before you write. Since I am an expressive, visual person, I actually discovered I can describe my mood so much better when I don't have to limit myself to just words.
And the best thing about it is that there is no wrong way to art journal.

No. 29 - Night at the Movies

So, I have this habit of saving my movie stubs as a way of journaling. Then I write on the movie stub the names of the people that were with me. Just a little habit I have....

Playing Chicken With Traffic - Journal Excerpt (March 22, 2009)

Now, I realize that only a small minority will remember/get this story, but while reading through old journals, this entry really made me laugh. So here it is word-for-word.

"...a funny thing happened on Friday night. Chris and I were walking home and Chris was playing chicken with vehicles. So we are walking along Ash Street and a vehicle is coming...but turns off. Then another vehicle comes along and Chris continues to walk towards it and the vehicle pulls to within an inch of Chris's legs. Fortunately for us, it was Michael. So we continue along and Chris loses one but it was a tractor going the same way as us. But then we were walking by the police station and a car was coming towards us so I push Chris out ... but then, the car began veering and accelerating towards us. So I grabbed Chris and we both jumped into the bushes. But it ended up being Tiffany. So it resulted in being quite hilarious."

Good memory :P
