At Home with Nicholas

Kudos to A Beautiful Mess for the idea.

I have a small crush on Nicholas's place. My friend recently moved to the beautiful city of Calgary {also which I have a crush on}. He graciously agreed to let me take pictures of his apartment for the blog. My self-appointed theme is: Modern Yet Travelled.

Blog meet Nick :)

I love home spaces and can't wait until I have one of my own to decorate. Until then, I will have to satisfy my desire with taking pictures of other people's places :)

Happy Sunday!

Winter Romance

I had the honour of doing a couple photoshoot for a former roommate and her boyfriend for Christmas. They were so easy to photograph, and the camera loved them! Here are some favourites.

Aren't they the cutest?
Happy Friday!

Advance

Our youth and young adults headed off this past weekend for a wonderful retreat filled with so much truth and fellowship. These events really solidify the big picture and the priorities in life. Here are some shots of the weekend.

Halloween Recap

What a fun party we had! Brother and I hosted a young adults costume party, and everyone delivered {didn't have to use my stash of costumes after all}. Lots of pictures to come on Facebook, but here are the highlights.

Best Individual Costume goes to . . . Isaac {Brother}/Two-Face

Best Couple Costume goes to . . . Sheri & Sarah/Despicable Me

Here are some shots of my costume {Katniss Everdeen}.

Also some decor shots . . .

In the end, it was a success and so much fun!!

Thanksgiving Recap

I had an amazing weekend! I think every weekend should be a long weekend, because then I would relax and hang out on Saturday and Sunday, while still completing all my homework on Monday. Love it! Here are some snapshots of what I was up to this Thanksgiving.

Started the weekend by watching this with a friend.
I'd recommend it for the music, not the storyline.

All in all, a successful and enjoyable weekend!
