12/31 {Happy New Years Eve}

WE DID IT! 31 days of dresses, and guess what, no repeats for this girl!
What a fun and amazing challenge this has been!

So to be honest, I'm not 100% sure of the plans tonight, but I wanted to wear this sparkly silver number in celebration of the end of the year! I've had this dress forever and whenever I wear it, I shed buckets of sparkles :)

12/30 {If In Doubt, Go Hippie}

So this second-to-last dress has been a bit of a problem for me. You see, I love, love, love the colour, but the cut is just frustrating. It literally is a rectangle dress and the pockets are FAKE {appalling}.

So the I decided the best way to wear a non-flattering outfit is to go completely hippie with it. That's right. Baggy sweater. Coloured tights. And cowboy boots. Yep.

12/29 {The One In Which We Discuss Zombies . . . }

So I bought Dad season 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead for Christmas. That is fine. Except now I am privileged to be exposed to numerous conversation between the other three members of my family about what one would do {a} in the event of a zombie apocalypse and {b} in order to recreate zombie makeup.

So then let me go on the record and say, "I DON'T GET THE FASCINATION". First of all, zombies are the dumbest type of supernatural creature out there. I feel like it would be extremely easy to thwart them. Also they are the ugliest. But in the event of an apocalypse I now know that a gun and a crossbow would not be weapons of choice. Also something about being near a waterfall in order to generate electricity??????????

12/28 {Happy Half Birthday}

So, let's talk about my name. Not exactly a chart topper for most common names of 2012. Most people when they meet me offer up some generic joke about siblings named Bronze or throw in a little "Hi ho, Silver" {P.S. Who's excited for the remake of The Lone Ranger?}. Therefore, when I found out there was a character on the great world of television, I was ecstatic. Turns out it was the CW's 90210, boooo {sorry to 90210 shippers}.

However, the point of all this is that the character Silver celebrates her half birthday every year. Kinda cool, eh? Well today is my half birthday! I wrote on Facebook this morning "If Silver from 90210 can celebrate her half birthday, then I think Silvers from all over the world should be able to. Happy Half Birthday To Me!" Believe me, I'm not expecting anything out of this; however, I do think it would be a good day to check in with my 23 Before 24 Bucket List.

12/27 {Ghost of Decades Past}

This is one of those outfits where I began with a simple clothing article and then kept piling on different, random items. The end result???

Something that may have stepped out of the '70s. Or maybe even '80s. Not sure really. I love living in this decade though because anything goes!!!! {Except maybe hoop skits, haven't quite figured out how to incorporate those}.

12/26 {Colour}

Today's Dressember challenge is Rainbow. My dress has several shades of turquoise, green, brown, and white, so I'm going for a rustic rainbow :)

P.S. So who saw Les Miserables last night??!?!?! Cause this girl did. And as I said on Facebook, I'm speechless, and I can't shut up about it. Anne Hathaway killed it, Eddie Redmayne's voice is to die for, and Hugh Jackman's acting is superb. I could say something about everything and everyone, but I'm going to force myself to stop now.

12/25 {Happy Merry Christmas}

A very, merry Christmas to everyone! What a wonderful day!

This is my go-to Christmas dress. I think I've worn it around this time for the last three years now. Why fix it if it isn't broken, right? {P.S. Can I just say that spending time with Dad and Siblings is the best thing to do in the world?!?!?!}

SIBLINGS ARE HERE! And this girl is too happy. Not entirely sure what the game-plan is, but a Christmas outfit is never out of place in December :)

 

This is a full {bridesmaids} dress, but a little too fancy for normal Christmas Eve festivities. Therefore, I added the cropped sweater to dress it down a bit.

12/23 {I Must Be Crazy . . . }

. . . because it is MINUS THIRTY-TWO outside. Grrrr. However, Dressember is still going strong!

 

Heading off to church and nothing says Sunday morning more than a clean cut dress and a set of pearls.  Then later today, BROTHER AND SISTER COME INTO TOWN! This girl is excited :) I'm also going to try to purchase my Les Miserables tickets today {yes, we are that family}.
