It has been far too long since doing a DIY on this blog. Since I had some extra time on Easter Sunday afternoon, here is my creation. Kudos to Bella @ iisabellaanne for the idea!

-Small square bulletin boards
Here are the finished products!
Check back in on Friday to see where I placed them in my house :)
Also I found more inspiration for my magazine binder. Check out that DIY here!
Happy Wednesday!
Don't forget about the transition from Google Reader to Bloglovin'.
This is effective July 1st, so don't forget to follow A Silver Snapshot here.
I have talked about Pinterest a few times on this blog, and I even have a whole page devoted to it.
Well, now I am beginning to transfer some of these pinned pictures into my life.
One of my projects is an "inspirational wall" right by my desk and school nook.
However, it takes me FOREVER to put stuff onto walls,
so I am just showing you some of my Sunday afternoon crafts.
The whole wall is still a work in process.
Here is an inspiration quote from Pinterest. Check out the original here.
Black-and-white Taylor Swift. Haters gonna hate, but I love her.
A bible verse on music notes. Combining the truth with music.
Here are some pictures I pinned that I am drawing my ideas from for my inspiration wall.
This is where I study. This wall is still being developed and will continue to be until I graduate. However, all these letters and sayings and pictures just inspire me to continue studying and growing.
I think what I miss the most about British Columbia is the sheer beauty of nature - the imposing mountains that don't apologize for their size and the abundant, intertwined lakes and forests. But what makes me miss it is the lack of inspiration here in Fort McMurray. The beauty that belongs to Fort McMurray is the people and the opportunities. Those components inspire a creativity of their own; however, sometimes I find myself longing for that encompassing nature to inspire me. To do what exactly, I have no specific preference. I just want to feel that adrenaline rush of an awakening spring morning with the birds tweeting. I miss birds tweeting. The only birds we have here seem to be oversized crows that look like they escaped from the set of a horror film. I miss robins and hummingbirds.
This isn't me complaining. This is simply me looking for inspiration in another form - a different world. Inspiration in an oiltown. Inspiration from mud.
