Brother, Sister, and I walked across the frozen river on New Years Eve. It was so much fun and so gorgeous, and only one of us was scared {no telling who}.
I would have been so scared!! I showed these photos to Mr Bertie and he said he is not sure he could do it either (and he is the bravest person I know!) but then again every winter in the UK our news stories are filled with warnings of not walking on frozen lakes, ponds, rivers etc and tragic tales of people falling through cos we get cold but not so cold it freezes solid like this and it lulls people into a false sense of security. This looks like it was really solid and no worries though. I bet it was a beautiful walk!
