I Will Pray For You....

I have a love-hate relationship with those words. The majority of the time I either (a) feel guilty for uttering them because they "feel so insensitive or (b) forget to pray. The forgetting to pray is just a minor problem and can be easily fixed, but why do I feel guilty? Why should these five words feel insensitive to either the praying person or the receiving person? When we do follow through on our prayer, are we not praying for healing, blessing, direction, wisdom, answers, and so much more? Why is it a "cliche answer"? Are we not praying to God, the only hope? I do not like it and do not want it to be like that anymore. When used right, those five words can be extremely powerful and promising.
